Certas Lubricant Solutions joins AMRC membership

The University of Sheffield AMRC is pleased to welcome Certas Lubricant Solutions, a leading provider of innovative lubrication products, service and solutions, as its latest AMRC member, aimed to drive innovation and excellence in manufacturing and lubrication technologies. 

Together, the collaboration will leverage Certas Lubricant Solutions' extensive expertise in lubrication and the AMRC's cutting-edge research capabilities to develop advanced solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the manufacturing industry.

By combining resources, the two organisations will focus on pioneering new lubrication techniques, optimising machine performance, and reducing environmental impact.

Key Objectives of the partnership:

Innovation in Lubrication Technologies: Joint research initiatives will explore new applications of lubricants, leading to breakthroughs that enhance machinery efficiency, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life.

Sustainability: The collaboration will focus on the development of sustainable manufacturing practices, aligning with global efforts to reduce carbon footprints and promote environmental stewardship.

Education and Training: Certas Lubricant Solutions and the AMRC will work together to provide training programs and workshops for industry professionals, which will include an increased understanding of the Health & Safety of metalworking fluids and fostering a deeper understanding of lubrication science and its critical role in manufacturing processes.

Industry 4.0 Integration: The partnership will explore the integration of advanced lubrication technologies with Industry 4.0 principles, including IoT and data analytics, to create smarter, more efficient manufacturing environments.
