Our AMRC Training Centre in South Yorkshire provides vocational and technical training to local young people, many of whom come from the most disadvantaged postcodes in the region.
Students at the centre follow an apprenticeship designed with our industry partners to ensure they learn the skills of the future, from artificial intelligence to data science. They train in our world-class facilities, then learn on the job in a role with one of the hundreds of employers we work with.
We also provide continuing professional development (CPD) for people working in UK manufacturing today — upskilling, reskilling and multiskilling employees so they’re ready for the future.
And every year our STEM team visit local schools to deliver interactive sessions to over 1,800 children, inspiring the next generation of engineers.
