AMRC staff make the world better with a sweater

12 December 2014

It's sometimes nice to see the human side to our incredible engineers. Today is Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day and so staff from the Design and Prototyping Group and Medical AMRC have donned their favourite woollies and are getting into the festive swing of things. Each wearer has contributed at least £2 each to the charity.

Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day

Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day is now in its third year and has raised more than £1.6 million to date.

Kareema Hilton, project engineer, was the instigator of the fundraising. She said "we work really hard all year and rarely have time to get together as a team. This seemed a great way to network with each other, celebrate our successes and raise much needed funds at the same time."
